Highlights of Nashik “Jain Samaj 2020-Sampark Yatra”
Continuing the Sampark Yatra 2020, a meeting with the Jain community was held at Nashik on 1st Feb. 2009 at 6:00 pm. The venue was the lush Chopda Lawns on Gangapur Road. The Guest of Honour was the local MLA Shri. Jayprakashji Chajjed. Shri. Prakashchandji Surana, Shri. Prafulla Parakh, Shri. Chandanmalji Bafna too graced the event that was attended by about 200 members, including ladies. The concepts put forth by Shri Shantilal Muttha were well received. The attached newspaper clippings and photographs bear testimony to the enthusiasm that was displayed to take the ideas forward.

The Sampark Yatra in Gujarat was a grand success. The enthusiasm of the Jain community from Gujarat was tremendous. They gathered in large numbers at every venue giving him a very warm and rousing welcome, be it a small town like Valsad or the bustling capital, Ahmedabad. Shri Shantilalji moved from one place to another tirelessly conducting two meetings per day covering 9 towns in 4 days, crisscrossing the state in a helicopter to optimize on time.
