A self-made man, Shri. Rasiklalji Manikchandji Dhariwal's service to the community has been in education: eight schools, two colleges and a Post-graduate Institute of Management Studies are run by the Shirur Shikshan Prasaran in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, of which he is an Executive Council member.

He has actively participated in social causes like eye camps, Jaipur Foot camps and free education to students. He is a secular personality and contributes for the right cause, irrespective of religion or caste. He lends a helping hand during earthquakes, cyclones, floods, and war casualties like in Kargil. He offers medical aid to poor downtrodden persons and financial assistance to needy brilliant students through the "Rasiklal Manikchand Dhariwal Trust."

He has opened the "Rasiklal M. Dhariwal English Medium School" in a rural area like Shirur. On Sahasrachandra Darshan celebration felicitation of his mother's 81st Birthday, he has kept aside Rs. 81 lacs for a new hospital.

The turnover of the Manikchand Group of Industries exceeds Rs. 500 crores, which includes the domestic sale and exports of chewing tobacco and pan masala to more than 22 countries.
